Gadar: Ek Prem Katha is a 2001 Bollywood action movie starring Sunny Deol, Amisha Patel, and Amrish Puri set in the time of the Indian partition. 

Gadar was a box office phenomenon and sold more tickets at theatres in India than any film in history apart from Sholay. It is in list of "One of the Biggest Blockbusters in Hindi Cinema".
